WIN+PLAY Competition at HONFablab!

WIN+PLAY or Window Display is a design and prototyping competition host by HONFablab (Fablab Yogyakarta) in cooperation with Lee Cooper Indonesia.
4 major universities in Yogyakarta take part, which are: Gadjah Mada University, Duta Wacana University, Indonesia Institute of Art and Sanata Dharma University. Each of university send their students as one group to compete with other university to create the best, innovative pieces work of window display to be displayed on Lee Cooper store at Malioboro Mall, started 15th June 2012.

What You Can Do in Fablab Yogyakarta?

Fab Lab (FABrication LABoratory) is a small-scale workshop offering digital fabrication. It is generally equipped with an array of flexible computer controlled tools that cover several different length scales and various materials, with the aim to make "almost anything". This includes technology-enabled products generally perceived as limited to mass production.
Fablab is a local laboratory connected globally with other Fablab in the world through network that you can use it as creative learning process, shares ideas, techniques, and even open your design to the network, which they will do the same.
Fablab in accordance with the vision and mission of the EFP HONF (Education Focus Program). EFP is a program that was carried by HONF and conducted independently and militants during a period of more than 10 years. Education Focus Program (EFP) is a curriculum that concentrates on interdisciplinary scientific exchange and collaboration in the process of critical analysis of issues that arise from such circumstances. This triggers the processing of innovative ideas to find the best solution for the problem. The main purpose of EFP is to build an open mindset and mentality in society by bridging the arts, science and technology through educational activities and continuous nature with each other.
