HONFablab Equipments
HONFablab is equipped with a range of digital fabrication machines that you can access to complete your projects. Besides the machines, HONFablab also provides various hand tools, analog machines, electronic devices, materials and workspace.
Our equipment is available for both individual and commercial uses. You can use all machines and facilities free of charge on our Open Lab days (Wednesdays and Fridays, except national holidays) for non-commercial use.
Machine use is subject to a rental charge on regular days. Please check the rate for each machine.
Digital Equipments & Various Hand Tools
Laser Cutter
The laser cutter is a machine that works in the 2D plane, almost like a laser printer. It follows your vector drawing and engraves photographs and has many more applications. The laser cutter cuts and engraves very precisely (<0.02mm).

Restrictions for health care:
organic and synthetic felt may only be lasered max. 2 hours a day!
Leather may only be lasered max. 4 hours a day!You can not cut & engrave: steel and non-ferro material such as aluminium, brass, copper and PVC.
Caution: cutting PVC may harm your health and therefore is not allowed.

Big Milling Machine
The ShopBot PRS standard is a 3 axis milling Machine ideal for making big things. From furniture to large scale models to large carvings and many more applications.

Small Milling Machine
The Roland Modela MDX-20 is used for precision 3D milling and 3D scanning, as well as for circuit board milling. 3d model jobs can take a long time (< 12h) while this machine can be left alone over night to do the most precise milling job in the fablab.

Vynil Cutter
With the vinyl cutter you can make stickers of max 58 cm wide, and 25 meters long, but it is also possible to cut copper foil, paper and other material.

Sewing and Embroidery Machine
Embroiderers will find 120 built in embroidery designs, five built in fonts, auto punch software and two embroidery hoops. The small hoop is 3-1/8 inch x 4-3/4 inch. The large hoop is 4-1/2 inch x 6-3/4 inch.
